Clover Imaging Group has announced its commitment to convert all its printer cartridge exterior packaging to sustainable material by the end of 2023.
The remanufacturing company will use coated recycled paperboard (CRB). CRB is fully recyclable after use and made using 100% post-consumer recycled content. Additionally, the new paperboard has received Sustainable Forestry Initiative certification. Clover claims the switch will conserve almost 600,000 lbs (272,155 kg) of cardboard annually.
Keli Posch, VP of Marketing and Sustainability for Clover Environmental Solutions, stated: “One of our sustainability goals is to prioritise high-recycled content and easily recyclable materials to support a circular economy model.”
