Hand sanitizer vendor GOJO is teaming up with City of Hope for #GivingTuesday, offering a $100,000 match for donations made today towards this year’s business products industry campaign.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the US, and the now globally recognised shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many individuals focus on their holiday and end-of-year philanthropy. Since it began in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalogue of resources.
GOJO – best known for its Purell brand – is leading this year’s National Business Products Industry campaign for City of Hope which will culminate in the company’s President & COO for North America, Steve Schultz, accepting the Spirit of Life award in October 2017. The company is offering to multiply by five any donations made to City of Hope on Giving Tuesday, up to a total of $100,000.
