The Business Solutions Association (BSA) is co-hosting a session at next week’s OPI Global Forum Online with renowned business consultancy firm Oliver Wight, it has been confirmed.

In a new addition to the Global Forum programme, Oliver Wight Americas Principals Crystal Lee and Dan Spatz will talk about planning through volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) times. In particular, they will help participants learn to achieve predictable performance in a VUCA world through better demand planning.

VUCA was a term first coined in the 1980s as a way for scholars to describe and study human leadership behaviour, and is particularly relevant in 2021 as executives look to manage through today’s COVID and supply chain issues.

Between them, Lee and Spatz have decades of experience in manufacturing and supply chain-related businesses, and their session will be an invaluable resource for executives participating in the Global Forum on 5-6 May.
