Amazon Business’ VP Prentis Wilson has confirmed that the e-tailer is winning a significant amount of off-contract spend from companies and government agencies.
Wilson was interviewed yesterday at the B2B E-Commerce workshop taking place at the IRCE 2016 event in Chicago.
Apart from his comments on non-core spend, Wilson – whose testimony at the recent hearing on Staples’ attempt to acquire Office Depot attracted a lot of media attention – provided more details on Amazon Business pricing, Fulfillment by Amazon and other aspects of the Amazon Business model.
