Former Office Depot EVP Doug Ramsdale has been appointed CEO of Home Products International (HPI), as part of a new management team.
He will work alongisde new COO Rich Hassert, a seasoned consumer products executive.
Ramsdale’s plans for HPI include boosting its OP interest.
He told OPI: "It’s great to be back in the saddle, and we have great ambition to expand our customer base into other channels, notably the OP channel where we currently have only a small foothold."
