12 December 2005 – (US): The International Trade Commission (ITC) has ruled that computer maker Gateway did not infringe on PC patents owned by Hewlett-Packard.
The ITC left open several other issues to be resolved by an administrative law judge. The patents in dispute cover parallel port printer technology.
HP said it believes the commission will eventually rule in its favour.
