4 February 2005 – Frankfurt (GER): As many as 66,000 visitors attended the Paperword trade fair this year, according to organiser Messe Frankfurt, providing a boost for the new businesses year.

Indeed, the mood in the OP market appears to be improving steadily, with 94 per cent of Paperworld visitors claiming they were satisfied with their visit, according to a poll conducted at the event.

Commenting on the show’s success, Dr Michael Peters, member of the board of management for Messe Frankfurt, said: "Both the trade and the industry made good use of the opening event of the year. The large numbers on the exhibitor and visitor sides confirms yet again that Frankfurt is the world’s most important venue for consumer-goods fairs."
