31 January 2005 – Shanghai (CHN): The debut Paperworld China fair, which is to take place from 15-17 November, has already attracted support from industry heavyweights and international players, according to sponsor Messe Frankfurt.
Stationery manufacturers and suppliers from nine countries and regions have already signed up to the fair, including major players UPM China, Shanghai-based adhesive manufacturer Polar Bear and Chinese writing equipment maker Wenzhou Aihao.
Ma Changbao, spokesperson for UPM, said: "We have participated in Paperworld in Frankfurt for four years, and have found it to be a great business platform for us in Europe; we expect Paperworld China to play the same role on this side of the world."
