PaperlinX bounces on Finland strike

16 June 2005 – Melbourne (AUS): Shares in the Australian paper manufacturer PaperlinX have risen 5.5 per cent this week, following the extension of the shutdown of Finland’s paper industry until 6 July.

The rebound of the PaperlinX’s share price follows its slump to a record low of A$2.32 at the end of May, stemming from a warning that this year’s profit would fall by 20 per cent.
