‘Opt-In’ on SHOPA BTS study

20 June 2006 – Dayton (OH): SHOPA has invited the industry to participate in new research initiative, Back-to-School Consumer Study.

Those taking advantage of SHOPA’s "Opt-In" initiative will be able to include their own proprietary questions in the study, which will enable them to gain a valuable insight into segments of the market that are of particular interest to them.

The study will look at back-to-school (BTS) expenditures per household, BTS expenditures per child, locations or destinations shopped for school supplies, preferred BTS purchasing decisions and the influence of children in purchasing BTS supplies.

The "Opt-In" initiative, which SHOPA introduced last year, also allows members to realise big savings on research budgets.
