OPI veteran Hilleard turns 50

It may come as a surprise to many, but OPI co-owner Steve Hilleard is celebrating his 50th birthday today.

It may come as a surprise to many, but OPI co-owner Steve Hilleard is celebrating his 50th birthday today.

Steve’s been in the industry for so long that most of you probably thought he had passed that milestone some time ago!

A hugely popular figure in the OP world – despite his allegiance to Manchester United – grandpa Steve is taking a few days’ hard-earned rest with his wife Kelly and their family, no doubt figuring out how to put together the flat-packed Zimmer frame he received as a birthday present from his adoring children! ;)

Birthday wishes from the industry are also pouring in – click here for one of our favourites.

On a more serious note, no one will dispute that Steve’s made a fantastic contribution, not only to the OP industry as a whole, but also to charitable causes such as City of Hope and Climb of Life. Not wishing to miss an opportunity to ask you to put your hands in your pocket, Steve is urging friends and colleagues in the industry to mark his 50th birthday, not by lavishing him with gifts, but by making a small (or large, if you like!) contribution to OPI‘s ongoing fundraising efforts to the Institute of Cancer Research.
