OPI is experiencing a fantastic response to the first ever Chinese Office Products Awards 2006.
The quality and quantity of entries received for the corporate social responsibility (CSR) and marketing categories has clearly demonstrated the growing sophistication of the Chinese OP industry.
Chinese companies have traditionally focussed more heavily on private-label and manufacturing but the shift toward s establishing home-grown brands, CSR and marketing signals a change and suggests a market fast maturing. This will help secure the longevity of the exciting new market long into the future.
Entries to the Chinese Office Products Awards are currently being short-listed by a distinguished panel of international judges.
The winners will be announced at a dinner at the Pudong Shangri-La in Shanghai on Monday 13 November, during Paperworld China.
Guests at the dinner will also be entered into a prize draw, sponsored by BEIFA, for the chance to win tickets to the 2008 Olympic Games held in Beijing.
The event will be the biggest OP networking event held in China this year with the opportunity to meet leading industry buyers from Staples, Corporate Express, Office Depot, Lyreco, and Chinese representatives of Chinese manufacturers Beifa, Lotus and Comix.
