23 March 2006 – Brazilia (BRA): Oki is to launch two local sales offices in Brazil this month in response to growing demand in the country.
Valued at more than $300 million a year, Brazil’s business printing market is the second largest performing market in Latin America and the 14th largest globally.
Oki president/CEO Mikihiko Maeno said: "By expanding our presence in Brazil we can provide greater service to our customers and ensure that our reseller partners have the necessary skills to provide the very best customer support, both before and after purchase."
Oki, which currently holds a 15 per cent market share of the Brazilian colour page printer market, is planning to locate the offices in Recife and the capital, Brasilia.
