4 July 2006 – Staines (UK): Officepoint dealers collected two of the top three prizes during a recent Spicers and Sanford Dymo campaign.
Surrey-based Office Products Group (OPG) and County Down-based Spa Business came in first and third place respectively — and won Apple iPods for their efforts.
The campaign rewarded those Spicers dealers who obtained the greatest sales growth for Dymo machines during the month of May.
Gary Billington, managing director of OPG, said: "We are really pleased to have won this prize from Dymo in recognition of our sales growth. We gave the products a good push when talking to customers, but the majority of the additional business came from the ‘Through Marketing’ e-mail campaign that Officepoint ran for us. They put the bulletins together and emailed them to our database on our behalf. We just had to deal with the enquiries and the orders which we received online and via our sales team. It goes to show how important effective technology is in helping dealers develop sales."
