2 February 2005 – Itasca (IL): OfficeMax has announced that Reuben Slone has been named EVP of supply chain.
Slone, who comes from Whirlpool Corporation where he was VP of global supply chain, will be responsible for both retail and contract supply chains, including all PowerMax distribution facilities.
Chris Milliken, president/CEO of OfficeMax, said: "Further development of the supply chain is a major initiative for OfficeMax, and led us to create this new position that reports directly to me. I am confident that Reuben has the energy and experience to lead the continuous improvement efforts of our world-class supply chain operations."
