10 December 2004 – High Wycombe (UK): The Office World UK affiliate scheme is to be suspended at midnight on 12 December until further notice, the company has announced.
The scheme, which began in March 2003, offers companies the chance to display the Office World UK link on their own websites and receive a percentage of sales when visitors click on to the link and make purchases.
A spokesperson for the company told opi.net: "With the integration of Office World UK and Staples, we are looking at every aspect of our business in order to make optimal plans for the future. However the scheme has been very successful and we will review it in February at the start of our new financial year."
