1 November 2004 – Marlow (UK): The Office Friendly Dealer Association held its annual conference this weekend in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, which was described as its ‘best ever’ by many of the 60 member companies represented.
Managing director Steve Harrop was quoted as saying the group has enjoyed a successful year, continuing to build a strong balance sheet and adding 20 new members.
Guest speakers included Kingfield Heath CEO Alan Barclay, who talked about the wholesaler’s return to profitability after three years of restructuring.
Former Olympic medal-winning athlete Kriss Akabusi also appeared at the event, and impressed delegates with a speech on the importance of being successful in your arena.
