Océ has posted a 37.3 per cent drop in its third quarter net income.
The company reported profit of €8.9 million ($10.8 million), compared to 14.1 million registered a year ago. Revenue rose by 0.6 per cent to €649.6 million.
Océ chairman, Rokus van Iperen, said he expected operating income from commercial activities to be "significantly higher" in 2005, compared with results the previous year.
Van Iperen added: "Océ has shown a clear improvement during the third quarter, with growth in the sales of printing systems again reaching double-digit level."
On 21 September, Océ entered into an agreement to acquire all the outstanding shares of Imagistics International in a deal worth $754 million.
