14 August 2006 — Atlanta (GA): It is with great sadness that OPI announces the passing away of National Office Products Council (NOPC) president, Bob Parker.
The ever-popular industry leader died peacefully in his sleep following a courageous battle against illness. In November last year, it was announced Bob was to take a medical leave of absence from his post as CEO of O’Sullivan Industries.
Bob will be fondly remembered for his business acumen, sharp wit, and tireless fund-raising and leadership of the NOPC’s campaigns in support of the City of Hope, efforts which have donated tens of millions of dollars for research to help eradicate life-threatening diseases.
