Ingram Micro Europe has appointed Alexandra Nagels as VP of human resources and services for Europe. Her predecessor Lynn Jolliffe has transferred her role to VP of human resources for Ingram Micro North America. Brussels (BEL)

 

Eileen Ward has been appointed as a director of Stewart Superior Europe. Domtar is to cease production at four sawmills indefinitely. The closures of the mills in Quebec and Ontario have been attributed to high timber costs and low demand for lumber and wood chips and will affect 950 employees. Vancouver (CAN)

 

Georgia-Pacific has agreed to sell six paper mills to Oregon-based Roseburg Forest Products. The six industrial wood products mills being sold are located in Mississippi, South Carolina and Georgia.Vienna (GA)

 

SanDisk has announced new distribution relationships with Ingram Micro and Rashi Peripherals, one of India’s largest IT distributors, to sell SanDisk products throughout the country. SanDisk products will initially be available in 2,000 stores, but will be obtainable in more than 14,000 stores by the end of 2007. New Delhi (IND)
