Newell linked with Dymo deal

 

26 August 2005 –Stamford (CT): Esselte is allegedly finalising the sale of its Dymo brand to Newell Office Products for between $600 million – $700 million, according to industry sources.

 

opi.net also understands that Avery Dennison made an earlier bid of approximately $300 million for the label-writing brand.

 

Esselte declined to comment.
