6 August 2007 — Dallas (TX): Gale Woelffer has been appointed president of Texas-based BRW Paper, a subsidiary of Gould Paper.
Bob Weill, president of Gould Distribution, said: "Gale has over 30 years’ experience in the paper industry. Additionally he has incredible knowledge of, and experience in, the Texas and Kansas markets. Gale brings a focus to BRW at a time when the paper industry dynamics are changing at a very rapid rate."
Gale began his career with Georgia Pacific before joining Leslie Paper, which was subsequently purchased by International Paper in 1991. In 1992 he headed up BRW as a start-up. Today the company is the fastest growing paper merchant in the southwest region.
