17 May 2007 — Oakdale (MN): Imation has appointed Stephen Moss VP and chief marketing officer.
He will be responsible for providing leadership for brand asset management on a global basis as the company continues to grow its portfolio of brands in both commercial and consumer data storage media and accessories.
He will report to president and CEO Frank Russomanno and will be responsible for the brand portfolio management, channel marketing and development and product line strategy.
Russomanno said: "Steve has a demonstrated track record of managing multiple consumer brands and improving brand position and market share in competitive markets on both a regional and a global basis. Over his career, Steve has managed strong and well recognised brands such as Old El Paso, Green Giant, Haagen-Dazs, Kool, Bailey’s, and Cuervo.
"He brings a disciplined approach to brand asset management, has successfully built strong teams, established strategic relationships and carried established brands into new and emerging markets. I look forward to working with Steve as Imation builds and extends its portfolio of commercial and consumer brands around the world."
