7 July 2006 – Wexford (PA): SpecMetal Furniture, a new company based in Wexford, Philadelphia, has announced its launch.
Specmetal says it will manufacture steel office furniture, including desks, files and general storage items.
The company said it will sell "high quality", mid-priced steel furniture through dealers to business, educational and government markets.
It has already signed 15 independent reps groups across the country and plans to continue to add to the list.
