21 December 2004 – Stamford (CT): International Paper (IP) has pronounced William Walter a new member of the company’s board of directors.
Walter, whose election will be effective from 1 January 2005, is chairman and president/CEO of chemical manufacturer FMC Corporation.
IP’s chairman and CEO John Faraci said: "Bill brings a tremendous amount of industrial and manufacturing excellence to our board, and IP will benefit from his expertise."
