16 September 2004 – Washington (DC): NCR has recalled 78,000 printer cartridge refill kits because they do not have child-proof packaging, posing a health risk to young children who may ingest the ink sold in the product.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, consumers who bought model numbers 943264, 999292 and 999289 should keep them out of reach of young children and return the product to the store where it was purchased for a refund or free replacement.
