MPA takes euro-tour



MPA International has revealed that the Spanish office products market increased by 4.7 per cent in value terms between 2003 and 2004 to reach Euro 2.7 billion ($3.3 billion) at manufacturers’ selling prices.


In addition, MPA has predicted further growth in the Spanish office furniture market, due to an increase in employment in services and public administration, and favourable economic conditions.


The research agency has also launched second studies on the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, which are due to be published in December.


Managing director Martin Wilde commented: "Our first reports on these markets, which focussed on core products only, generated a great deal of interest and with these OP markets growing faster than those in western Europe, it is time for MPA to revisit them and add remaining product sectors, such as office furniture."
