11 January 2006– London (UK): From this January, MPA will be offering all of its European reports in a database format, rather than as individual, hard copy country reports.
There will be separate databases covering western Europe, and central and eastern Europe. A North American database is expected in due course.
The market values in the databases will be updated every year, with commentary and distributor sales/market data updated every two years, the company said.
Managing director of MPA Martin Wilde explained: "Searchable, exportable, easy-to-use and full of added features, users will never want to go back to hard copy OP market studies again."
Wilde will demonstrate the database for the first time at Paperworld 2006 at the end of the first day on Wednesday 25 January.
