19 January 2007 — Duesseldorf (GER): Metro Group is thought to be negotiating with the transportation company DHL on the possible acquisition of its logistics unit, SCM Logistik Deutschland.
A Metro spokesman said that takeover plans have already been submitted to German antitrust authorities.
