6 January 2006 – Heilbronn (GER): Mayer-Kuvert-network has announced the completion of its acquisition of Eagle Envelopes and Trimfold from paper-maker Smith Anderson Group.
The acquisition of Eagle, based near Edinburgh, and Trimfold, Dublin, makes Mayer one of the largest producers of envelopes in Europe.
Trimfold will be renamed Trimfold Envelopes as part of the deal.
