3 May 2006 – Heilbronn (GER): Mayer-Kuvert-network has completed its acquisition of the envelope factories of Antalis Envelopes in the UK.
The deal, which includes sites in Dagenham and Dyce near Aberdeen, strengthens Mayer-Kuvert’s existing operations at Walsall and Bathgate. Mayer’s newly acquired manufacturing business will continue to trade with Antalis under the name Diamond Envelopes and has agreed a long-term contract with the paper merchant.
Simon Usher has been named managing director of Diamond Envelopes and Edlef Bartl, CEO of Mayer-Kuvert-network, has been appointed to the board of the new company.
