‘Max launches ink refill programme

27 March 2006 – Itasca (IL): OfficeMax has launched its ink refill station programme, with kiosks planned for more than 900 stores nationwide.

‘Max employees at the kiosks, which will allow consumers to refill empty ink cartridges at up to 50 per cent savings over buying a new cartridge, will clean the cartridges, refill them inside a vacuum chamber to ensure quality and run a print test on them.

The programme forms part of the retailer’s new store design, which is to be rolled out in stores from 2006.
