Lenzing back in production after fire

Lenzing, Austria. Austria's Lenzing Papier is back in full production after the serious 5 November fire which saw the company endure 46 days of downtime.

The company said 90,000 metres (295,275 ft) of cabling had to be replaced and all electrical wiring was lost. During the downtime caused by the fire – most likely caused by a short circuit igniting paper machine cables – Lenzing said it modernised its paper machine and carried out maintenance.
