Lenovo plays long game


26 September 2005 – Hong Kong (CHN): Lenovo Group has warned investors not to expect rapid growth while it focuses on investing in long-term success.

The statement follows the recent acquisition of IBM’s PC assets in May.


Yang Yuanqing, Lenovo chairman, said: "Right now I want to tell our investors to calm down and give us more time to fully integrate to get better performance.


"We want to ensure long-term success," he added.
