29 March 2005 – Indianapolis (IN): is.group CEO John Kreidel has announced his resignation from the US independent dealer group.
Kreidel will officially leave his post on 31 May, although he will continue to work closely with the board for the remainder of the year to help ensure a smooth transition. Mike Gentile, who in January was named president, will assume the CEO mantle upon Kreidel’s departure.
is.group chairman Frank Trowbridge paid tribute to Kreidel’s efforts and said: "For seven years, literally every waking hour, John has dreamed about true freedom and power for independent office product dealers. His vision, passion, and tireless work ethic have laid a solid foundation for building the dealer group of tomorrow."
Kreidel spelled out the reasons for his resignation in a letter to is.group members, which include the desire to spend more time with his family.
