St Petersburg is rapidly becoming the hub of the Russian OP market and OP distributor Komus is keen for a slice of the action.
The firm is looking to invest $1.2 million this year in expanding its retail network and opening a new 10,000 sq m warehouse.
The St Petersburg OP market is said to be growing 15 per cent annually.
Komus announced in April that it plans to boost OP production with a $1 million investment which will see the installation of an automatic assembly line at its Moscow plant. The firm produces OP under license from Danish firm Bantex.
