Kodak to cut Brazil plant

Eastman Kodak plans to close its Brazil plant that supplies colour photographic paper to the Latin American markets, as it continues to consolidate worldwide manufacturing operations.

The closure of the facility, located in Sao José dos Campos, will incur a restructuring charge of about $48 million.

In separate news, Kodak has received US antitrust approval to acquire Canadian printing technology firm Creo for about $980 million in cash.
