22 September 2004 – Coburg (AUS): Eastman Kodak is to close an Australian plant in response to the consumer shift to digital products and services.
The plant, in Coburg, primarily manufactures colour photographic paper and will close at the end of November. Around 600 workers will be affected.
Kodak insisted that it remains committed to the Australian market and will continue to offer traditional and digital imaging services and products.
