9 June 2006 — Grand Rapids (MI): Kentwood Office Furniture has entered into an agreement to acquire the Office Furniture division of Michigan-based Maddalena’s.
The new subsidiary, to be called Kentwood Office Furniture — Maddalena’s, will market major lines including HON, Allsteel, Trendway, National, Sit-On-It and Global. The deal will also enhance Maddalena’s remanufactured office furniture offering.
