9 February 2005 – Sawston (UK): John Dickinson Stationery has exceeded its £50,000 ($93,000) charity donation target by £8,000, it has announced, adding that it plans to extend its support into 2005.

The UK stationery manufacturer, which supports the National Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) and its sister charities, donates money for each box of envelopes sold under its New Guardian, Basildon Bond and Plus Fabric brands.

John Grounds, NSPCC’s director of communications, said: "The funds generated through John Dickinson Stationery’s campaign last year were of tremendous benefit to the charity. The donation is helping to fund activity across the UK among our 180 community teams and projects, child protection helpline and public education campaigns.

"It’s excellent that the company is continuing its support into 2005 – with even more of its high profile brands on board," he said.
