Japenese firm buys US paper company

 

16 January 2007 — Tokyo (JPN): US paper distributor Intragrated Resources Holdings has been bought by Marubeni, Japan’s fifth-largest trading company, in a deal thought to be worth ¥8 billion ($66 million).

 

In a statement, Marubeni said: "Intragrated Resources could become a good tool for Japanese paper producers hoping to expand sales into the US."
