25 February 2005 – New Delhi (IND): ITC’s paperboards and specialty papers division plans to set up an integrated elemental chlorine free pulp and paper mill.
The proposed 200,000 tonne per annum unit, which will be spread over more than 100 hectares in a location yet to be decided, will require investment of over INR25 billion ($571.8 million) over the next five years.
Feasibility studies are currently being carried out in Indian states such as Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
