2 March 2005 – Alexandria (VA): Jim McGarry will be stepping down as president/COO of the board of directors of the Independent Office Products and Furniture Dealers Association (IOPFDA), the parent organisation for NOPA and OFDA.
McGarry has been an integral part of the association’s management for the last 10 years, serving as president since 1997. He is now to become VP for KnowledgeBank, a northern Virginia-based human resources and organisational development consulting company.
Former IOPFDA chairman Evan Morris will serve as interim president while the board searches for a permanent replacement.
