International Paper president Rob Amen to retire

16 December 2005 – Stamford (CT): International Paper (IP)  has announced that its president Rob Amen will retire after a brief transition period.
 
Amen, who has worked for the company for 26 years, said he would leave to pursue his long-term goal of leading a company.
 
CEO John Faraci said: "Rob has been a friend and colleague and we will miss having him as part of our senior leadership team."
