15 May 2006 – Amherst (CA): Ingram Micro has announced plans to lay off about 35 employees in the application development group at its Amherst office by the end of the year.
The company said it is negotiating with offshore providers to take on positions in coding, testing and quality assurance. The move will affect 81 positions companywide.
