Impressive lineup for OPI European Forum

OPI has announced the theme for this year’s European Forum, along with new speakers and topics.

Moderated by EO Group CEO Simon Drakeford, the overall core concept for the 2017 event is ‘Championing Change & Delivering Growth’ which is reflected in the subjects that will be tackled during the two-day event, and the lineup of speakers.

The opening keynote by Zukunftsinstitut Associate Director Jeanette Huber will deal with the future workplace which is currently undergoing rapid change. Huber will look beyond millennials and flexible working towards upcoming trends such as artificial intelligence and gamification.

A panel of executives from leading European wholesalers will discuss how to innovate and deliver cost-savings to the business while continuing to provide excellent customer service.

On the first day of the Forum, a selection of roundtables will cover pertinent topics including Brexit, the Internet of Things, how to work with Amazon, and content marketing. The day will close with OPI CEO Steve Hilleard and the Big Interview with Lyreco CEO Hervé Milcent.

Other Forum highlights include a keynote session hosted by Brother UK Managing Director Phil Jones on building a high-performing workplace culture, and Quirk Solutions Managing Director Chris Paton discussing stress testing and scenario planning in uncertain times.

Preparing businesses for the future, technology expert Stefaan Ponnet will explain why new payment system Blockchain is being hailed the next industrial revolution and how it could impact the OP industry and its supply chains.

As with all OPI Forums, all discussions will take place under Chatham House rules.

The OPI European Forum 2017 will take place 14-16 June at the Westin Grand in Berlin.
