Imation CEO resigns

3 April 2007 — Oakdale (MN): Imation CEO Bruce Henderson has resigned for medical reasons.

Imation said that Henderson has a malignant brain tumour and will continue medical treatment while remaining an inactive employee. He will take part in Imation’s short-term disability program and apply for long-term disability benefits.

Frank Russomanno has been named as the firm’s new president and CEO.

Russomanno, formerly a COO at the storage device company, began as its acting CEO in November 2006 after Henderson left on medical leave.

Imation also said it had elected its lead director, Linda Hart, as non-executive chairman of the board. Hart, 66, is also vice chairman and CEO of Hart Group.
