14 January 2005 – Santa Ana (CA): Ingram Micro has promoted Alain Maquet to SVP and president of Ingram Micro Latin America.
Maquet, who will take over his new position on 1 March, is currently SVP of southern and western Europe, with overall responsibility for the company’s operations in France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain, as well as a sales office in Portugal.
Maquet replaces Asger Falstrup, who retired from the company in December, and will report to president of Ingram Micro Kevin Murai.
