iba chief becomes EOSA chairman

28 September 2007 – Berne (CH): Peter Basci, CEO of iba in Switzerland, has been named chairman of the European Office Supplies Alliance (EOSA), following the recent departure of Ray Peck from that position.

Basci said: "I am delighted to take over the leadership of this exciting and expanding organisation, which continues to develop its European customer network and its purchasing strategy. I look forward to continuing to work closely with all the alliance partners, and further enhancing our geographical coverage to the benefit of customers and our important strategic supplier base."

In addition to its European presence, EOSA also works in close co-operation with OfficeMax, extending its international coverage to North America, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.
