Hewlett-Packard CEO Mark Hurd has said that the tech giant will focus on printing, mobile computing and data centres in 2007.
In his first close-up meeting with Wall Street analysts since he took the role last March, Hurd said he expects these trends to propel growth of 4-6 per cent in fiscal 2007, which begins in November of this year.
"We think we’re positioned to go catch these three market movements," added Hurd. "These trends are going to happen with or without HP."
HP has forecast sales for 2006 of $89.5-$91 billion. HP also predicted operating margins for 2007 of 7.5-8 per cent.
